  Daisuke TSUTSUMI (Dice)

Born and raised in Japan, Daisuke “Dice” Tsutsumi migrated to America and quickly became an incontrovertible artist (and a kind of Guru ;-). He worked for Lucas Learning LTD and Blue Sky Studios. He is now works Art Director at Pixar Animations.

Daisuke is not only working for the animation industry but he is also an accomplished painter, able to paint astonishing outdoors oils and watercolours whatever the weather. He is also a sketchbook addict and is able to bring together incredible talents as he did with the famous collective : Out of Picture. He inspired this international concept and is a great support in this challenge.

Gérald GUERLAIS

Born in 1974, in Nantes (France), Gerald is both Illustrator and background designer.

He graduated from the National School of Applied Art (also called Olivier de Serres) in 1998. His clients include Vivendi Universal Publishing, Excelsior, Bayard Press, Prisma Press, Futurikon, Alphanim, Xilam Animations.

Impassioned by animation and illustrations, he collects animation artbooks and children books since his early age and loves promoting illustration.
